Well, now that that's over. Yes, Val is back. She spent the majority of her time measuring watermarks under bridges in east TX and western LA. We've decided that this was very much a "distance makes the heart grow fonder" experience. I can't express how great it is to have her back. We've been looking at houses lately. We're hoping to save up here in the next six months or so, and see what happens. I want to start posting more, and on more topics, so indulge me if things get pontifical or theological. I don't have much to say right now, other than I hate Walmart, and the "get out of my way" mentality that seems to accompany all who enter the doors. Yes, we went shopping today.

I am so glad she's back! Yes, Justin and I feel that way as soon as we pull into the parking lot at Wal-Mart. It's sort of like, "You are now entering hell..." sort of a thing sometimes. Last night we took our kids to a concert at Oakwood Christian featuring Mainstay, The Wedding, John Reuben, and Falling Up. Greg Pruett plays lead guitar for John Reuben, it was great to see him again! Have you heard of the first two bands? The Wedding is way hard! They were nuts! Screaming, head banging, jumping all over stage, CRAZY! Our boys loved it! :) I love Falling Up of course and it was good to hear my favorite songs live. They were just as nuts and their guitarists even dove (sp?) off the speakers and monitors and stuff and did backflips onto the stage. Wow. Needless to say the girls hated it, but Justin and I loved it. Falling Up is coming out with a brand new album this week so be on the lookout! It sounds great from the songs they played last night!
