...nothin' much. Just a couple hurricanes. You?
Life is strange, is it not? I've been quite pensive lately, and for those of you who know why, you know why. Nothing concrete, really, just jumbles of deep thoughts. I need to learn to write these things down, for such foibles are the stuff platinum albums are made of.
At first you get lazy. Then things start piling up that you need to do. You then put them off as long as possible, while still keeping a relatively tidy life. In the meantime, you feel bad for being as lazy as you are, and end up feeling quite disgusted with yourself. You then notice the weight that you've been meaning to lose since college...it looks larger than ever, but later you look again and realize that it isn't, and that it was merely your attitude dictating your distaste.
After all of this, you end up at a relatively low point, not really wanting to do anything, and yet still feeling blah. At this point, your allergies suddenly find you, as if you hadn't moved 500 miles from where they found you last year. Later that week, a cold front moves in and your allergies tag them in with the referee distracted by the well-endowed woman who just tried to trip you. Together they pick you up and put you in some complicated position that will surely hurt quite a lot when they release you from it.
So while once again being sick enough to feel miserable, but not sick enough to stay home, you must continue your daily routine without the company you're used to. And life goes on.

That darn allergy/sinus/flu/cold bug is going around over here since that one day of 45 degree weather. Now it's 80+ degrees threatening 90 in OCTOBER! I tell you what! Now it doesn't make much sense to feel so awful when it's so nice outside. I wish the weather would make up its mind! I know how ya feel. No matter how much I work out and eat right, every time they weigh me at the doctor it's the same. Haven't lost, haven't gained. So much work for nothing. It's too hard to get up to do anything about it when I can't breathe out of my nose, there's drainage going down my throat and making it sore, and my ears are plugged up. YUCK! Here's to hoping we're all better soon!
I would think there would some interesting stories about what Val has been doing lately? (Hint, Hint)
