The end of spring break approacheth. I realise now that I must come up with some better way of setting goals for myself, for I have accomplished none of the ones that I intended to undertake this week, other than catch up on sleep. Even this, however, was not done in the fashion I intended, a sort of midnight till 8am style, but rather in a brash, unhealthy, 3am till noon sort of style.
I did play my guitar a bit, and can now play John Mayer's "Why Georgia" just like he does, with all the fancy slaps and everything. Ladies, take a number. (Just kidding Val)
I've also spent a lot of time on Dwebb, which has been fun and guilt free, since there is no schoolwork I am putting off in order to peruse the endless pages of banter, with the occasional theological insight.
Val and I made lasagna the other night. It turned out awesome, as lasagna is hard not to. We've also spent many nights discussing some of the more interesting facets to our upcoming marriage, such as placement of our sparce, college-esque furniture in her small apartment that I will be moving into on June 12th.
So, all in all, it's been a good, restful break. Although, I'm not going to cherish waking up at 7am the next few days.
On another note, I have now included a "current terror alert" link over on the right. Make note. It's important stuff.
So, yeah....good times.
