This has been about the most frustrating week of my life. I'm not gonna go into details, since I'm trying to get the frustration out, and not dwell on it. Val was great to me, though, and took me out for a steak dinner after the end of the week's monstrosities on Friday. I realaxed all weekend, and think I can continue normal life without having sudden urges to scream at people out for being stupid. Anger consumes you way too easily. I need to watch myself when I get stressed, lest I yell at someone I love.
The last thing I had on the calendar last week was an interview for Head RA. There are four people applying for two positions, and surprisingly enough, there have been a shortage of mean feelings between the candidates. One of the candidates is a friend of mine, Mr. Jeremy Greenwood. We've worked together a lot, and I wouldn't mind if he got the position as well. I'm also not sure how favorably the department is going to look on hiring someone that's going to be a newlywed. They're not supposed to discriminate, but life, unfortunately, is not quite that fair. We'll see.
Other than all this, life has been normal. A bunch of school stuff, that's about it. Hope to see some comments from you guys. I enjoy hearing from you.
